Custom Ergonomics: Philadelphia, 2008

Skylar Tibbits, in collaboration with Point b design, presented the Custom Ergonomics studies, Aug. 2008. Door handle sketch studies milled from blue insulation foam. The door handle was digitally modeled, milled then physically manipulated with clay to create a custom fit for the user's hand. The form was finally taken back into Rhino and CNC cut paths were generated for surface milling. Many thanks to Jon Proto and Brandon Krusyman. Fabrication: Point b design
